She was born February 25, 1943 in Logan, WV, daughter of the late James Wetzel and Treasie Marie Mullins Spry.
Brenda was a Methodist and was retired. She was a cook at many different restaurants both in Wheeling and in Virginia and was a hairdresser.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lipscomb; brother, James Spry and sister Bertha Spry.
Surviving are a son, William "Bill" J. (Debbie) Lipscomb of Navarre, FL; daughter, Treasa M. Lipscomb of Wheeling, WV; grandchildren, including Brandon, Devin & Liz; great-grandchildren and brother, Michael Spry.
Friends will be received Friday, October 24, 2025 from 10 AM until the time of service at 1 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (#304-242-2311) with Reverend Mike Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling, WV.
