Barbara A. Farrell

Barbara Ann (Berardi) Farrell, 85, of Windsor Heights, WV, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at WVU Wheeling Hospital.

She was born July 12, 1940, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Stephen Joseph and Anna Marie (Vidonic) Berardi, Sr. Barbara was a dedicated owner and operator of a local cake decorating and candy store, as well as a ceramic store. She poured her heart into her work while always making time for her beloved family, sharing her love for crafts and cooking. Barbara's greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She was a Catholic by faith and was an active member of her community, participating in the Windsor Heights Mother's Club and was a leader in the local 4H.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life, William C. Farrell, Jr., whom she spent 62 years with and her brother, Stephen "Sonny" Berardi, Jr.

Barbara is survived by her two children, William C. Farrell, III of Windsor Heights and Jamie (Douglas) Ernest of Wheeling; two grandchildren, Gavin and Bryn Ernest, who brought her endless happiness and fulfillment; her sister, Paula (Robert) Whiteside; several nieces and nephews and her beloved fur baby, Diva.

Throughout her life, Barbara touched many lives with her kindness and warmth. Her legacy of love and dedication to her family and community will be lovingly remembered and cherished.

Entombment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.
