Jeannine M. Farrell
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Jeannine M. (Leveillee) Farrell, 92, of North Smithfield, passed away surrounded by her family on October 19, 2025 at HopeHealth Hospice Center, Providence. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Louis D. and Marguerite (Laliberte) Leveillee.
After raising her children, Jeannine worked as Director of Medical Records for the Northern RI Community Mental Health Center in Woonsocket. She also worked as a Medical Records Specialist for the Providence Center and for University Medical Group and was a RI Realtor.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at The Lake in CT; attending the theatre, listening to Big Band Music and ballroom dancing. She will be remembered for her volunteerism over a period of 50 years with Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church and was one of the founding members of the parish council as well as teaching CCD and pre cana, working at the carnival and serving on the Finance Committee. She was also a Girl Scout Troop leader. In addition, she worked as a volunteer at Landmark Medical Center for over 50 years, as well as the Alexander's Lake Yacht Club, JayCettes and served as the President for the Northern RI Chapter of the American Cancer Society and Business and Professional Womans Club.
She is survived by her six children, Susan Czyzewicz of North Smithfield, John Farrell of Ormond Beach, Florida, Maureen Brassard and her husband Craig of North Smithfield, Paula Farrell Laney and her husband Michael of North Smithfield, Christine Vallee and her husband Dennis of Harrisville, and Patricia Farrell of Dayville, CT; four grandsons, Justin and Adam Czyzwicz, Johnathan Farrell and Farrell Laney and Charlene Vallee Marshall and Christopher Vallee. She also leaves her nieces Louise and Denyse Garneau of Quebec Canada and great nephew Stephane Vermette. She was predeceased by her brother Louis Leveillee, her sister, Therese Garneau, her son in law, John Czyzewicz and her nephews Paul and Michel Garneau of Quebec, Canada.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 10AM at Holy Trinity Parish, formerly Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow at St. Jean-Baptiste Cemetery, 314 Wrentham Road, Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
