William Robert Locklear

My sincere condolences to all. What an outstanding legacy he leaves behind.

Bill was my "boss" for a few years and then we parted ways, but both stayed in Student Affairs. Once, no longer working side by side, Bill never rested, at UCLA, till he retired. I missed the annual St. Patrick Day gathering for a little R&R. It's been many years since he retired, but I am not surprised that he continues to active in his community. Bill was a very dear friend and admired by everyone he came in contact with over the years. He was very bright with a quick sense of humor. Over the years we drank many glasses of scotch and it was a cut above Trader Joe´s. Rest in peace, good buddy. Gib Poiry
