I was so sorry to learn of Bill's death in the paper yesterday. I have so many wonderful memories of all of you as "Barbara Gay" and I grew up on Hawthorne, near Hosford & in Lake Oswego.

Sarah and Barbara: Emily and I remember Bill fondly. Technically, I am his uncle, but only 5 years older, so we were buddies when young. Admired him serving on the Enterprise in WWII. Had great contacts with him later when he worked at Cadillac across from me at Bentech High. He used to visit my classes and talk about selling cars.
