Turkey hunting on our small 20 acre ranch

Dear Pam,Richard and I were RVing thru 90 to Yellowstone and googled you and Bill. So sorry to hear of his passing. We have great memories of our week at your beautiful place, the horses, ducks, creek, wonderful food and delightful company. Think of you when I make Bisquick pancakes! Bill, you and the family will be in our prayers and thoughts.Richard and Karen Pena ( now on Edinburg, Texas)

Bill was a man who had time for anyone who needed his. A friend to all and an idle to others. I'm not sure if there was anything this man couldn't do when it came to ranching. He could vet any creature no matter the injury and he could ride like there was no tomorrow. I have such fond memories of knowing this man in my teens and all that he and my father taught me. To my Dad, he was a best friend, to me, he was a hero. We'll see you again in those greener pastures one day. Maybe you'll...

I met Bill Loney when I was 10 yrs old. He was so kind to a little girl who's mom was the cook for the haying crew at the Holland Place. Forever after he was my hero and any cowboy had to measure up to him. At the time he was rodeoing in college and had a dislocated shoulder. As you all know, that didn't slow him down. Bill was one of a kind and how blessed we are to have known him. He will be missed as a shining example of "true grit".

Bill was a cowboy's cowboy. Nobody ever worked harder, treated a piece of ground better or an an animal better. It was a privilege to know him and he will be so sorely missed. Pam, I'm very sorry for your loss.
