Dear Joan: Gloria and I were sadened when we received the news that God had called Palmer home. Sad because he will be missed so here on earth. We rejoice because he has been called to his heavenly rewards which so occupied his very being. Palmer was a good man and a faithful servant to his Lord. Whn we learned that God had called you to the same type of ministry it so encouraged my old heart. Evidently his work was completed and mine is yet to be finished. Strange how God works..Please...

Jo & Truman and the entire Long family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. It is hard to imagine saying goodbye to Palmer so soon after losing Jo's sister, Wanda. God will be your strength. I did not know Palmer well, but it is apparent that he was a faithful servant of Christ his entire life. We mourn, but heaven rejoices.

What a gentleman and what a great missionary and soldier for the Lord! I thank God for everything Palmer did for Keys and Moldova. Heaven is now richer, we are now sad from the loss. My thoughts are with Joan

Our hearts and prayers are with Joan and the rest of the family. Because of his love for the Lord and desire for others to know the Lord's love, he will be joined in heaven someday by many who will thank him for sending the harvesters. We are privileged to have known such a dear man. He will truly be missed.

Joan, Susie, and all of the rest of the family--my thoughts, prayers, and love are with you! Pal was surely a man of love, joy, compassion, vision, and laughter. He will be sorely missed until we see him again and this world is both richer for having had him and poorer for having lost him.
