Not sure what to say?

We will miss sweet Audie. He helped us legally at our restaurant and it turned out successfully, thanks to him. Last I saw him was when he wanted his favorite beef ribs and came by to pick them up. Going to miss him so much!

In Tyler, Audie was a fine young man and an accomplished athlete when we played Little League and Pony League baseball. He was a pitcher and later a quarterback for the Moore Mustangs Junior High team. A few years ago when I was writing a book about baseball, he and I talked for a long time when he was recovering from surgery as I recall. We need more human beings like Audie Long.

Audie was a client, friend, golf partner, fishing host. We worked together, shared offices and had many lunch meetings at Cardinal Puff´s. He shared his family and joined and shared our family. All the clients were shared looked forward to his advice and we all feel in love with him. I am honored to have been his friend.

Audie Long was an interesting man who told fantastic stories. He was a great chef on the grill. He once offered me grilled shark as well as liver wrapped in bacon. He was a terrific neighbor to myself and my family when I was a boy and he loved his wife and children. Life on Hathaway was magical and he was a big part of the narrative.
