Bill, also a member of the Jackson County Genealogical Society, was always there to help fellow researchers questions about the Civil War, and how to go about looking for those answers. Always enjoyed working with him on articles for the Lexicon, for the J.C.G.S. He will be greatly missed!!!!

My condolences to Bill's family and loved ones. His expert research and other work on behalf of Jackson's Civil War veterans as a member of SUVCW Austin Blair Camp #7 is well known and appreciated in the local reenactor community. He will be missed.
