Not sure what to say?

When I wrote my first remembrance, I inadvertently left out the name of Uncle Billy's youngest son, John. Cousin John holds a special place in my childhood memories. I will never forget how we all laughed and laughed when he was a tot and sang "Hey Jude," repeatedly.
Again, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. You all are forever in my prayers.

One of the most wonderful doctors I have ever had the pleasure to work with. What a caring and compassionate man. He will truly be missed. God's Peace!

I am praying that you will be comforted by knowing Billy is in heaven and filled with fond remembrances of his amazing life. My Dad,Jim Lummus, was always so proud of his little brother, as we all were. Uncle Billy was an intelligent, handsome and classy man which is why I named my youngest after him.

William Lummus was my Uncle Billy. I remember how smart and handsome he was. My father is James Lummus, the sole remaining sibling of their.large family, which was blessed with six children. Uncle Billy had the strongest Southern accent, and it somehow grew stronger as the years progressed! As the baby of the family, he was adored, and one of my father's greatest delights was when he would receive a phone call from Anderson, SC. My heartfelt sympathies are extended to his loving and Christ-...

Anne,
Sorry I could not attend the memorial service. Know that my prayers are being lifted up for you, to have that peace that is beyond understanding and that He would also grant you His comfort, strength and trust now and always.

Dr. Lummus was my mother's doctor for many years & she thought very highly of him as both a doctor & family friend. May God be with his family & friends.

GYou have my deepest sympathy!!!

As you grieve, know that we are remembering you and honoring the memory of Dr. William F. Lummus M.D.
