Not sure what to say?

It is hard to believe it has been a year since you have passed. I know you are healed, and having a great time with everyone. Love you and miss you. Shanda

It is with surprise and sadness that we read of Bill's death in the BCD.
We have fond memories of the visits to the Troll Haus and our personal interactions with Bill and Phyllis.
Please accept our condolences for his loss to both his family and the Bent County community.

Dear Phyllis and Family. I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I have such fond memories (high school and after) of the most loving, beautiful couple in LA. We will truly miss him. I will not be at the all school reunion the end of May, but I do hope to see you at the next one. As Always, Carol Bach Shepherd

Condolences to the family of Bill Lutz. He came to visit with mom after our dad's passing in '04. In a week he came with medals. Dad served in the European,African Middle Eastern Campaign. 2 other medals. We will forever be grateful to him and for being so kind to mom. Vera Martinez,Rose M. Velasquez,William Martinez,Linda S. You served your country, then returned to your hometown to add "A Touch of Class" with the Troll Haus. Service to your community was next on your list! As a councilman, then mayor and in service to Veterans. You and Phyllis were a great team! You will be missed by all whose lives you touched!

Phyllis, Curt and Scott, I will greatly miss my brother Bill, "Willie" to me. I know I was the only one to get away with calling him that and it was always with the greatest Love and Respect. I was, and am,always proud of his service to our country in the U.S. Air Force, his serving his Community on City Council and ultimately Mayor. Then he served his fellow Veterans as Veterans Service Officer of Bent County. He loved his Family, Country and City of Las Animas. Truly a great man. God...

Im so sorry to hear of Bills passing. I always thought the two of you were such a special couple and so much in love. I still remember being a flower girl at your wedding. My love and prayers to you and your family Phyllis.

You have known me since I was born. You and Aunt Phyllis have helped to take care of me since then. We are as close as a family can be. My love goes out to Aunt Phyllis, Curtis and Michelle and family and to Scott and Kim and family. You are always in my heart. Love you and miss you.

We will miss you very much. We will remember the great meals with laughter and good times and how much you loved us and all of your grandchildren. And we will watch over mom. Love you Curt and Michelle
