Not sure what to say?

Dear Mary Lou and family,

Bill was a great man, friend, Police Officer, husband, and father. This remembrance of Bill will never die.

Dear Mary Lou and family,

A great man, friend, Police Officer, father, and husband. This remembrance for Bill will never die.

Dear Mary Lou and family,

Both Sharon and I were sad to learn of Willie’s passing. He fought a long, hard battle and will be missed.
Some of my fondest memories spent with Willie or Bill, and there are so many, were: The “Porcelain Pulpit” incident at my house in West Hempstead. Blue fishing on the north shore with Charlie Galvin. I had a fish on my line, Willie “caught” a lobster pot at the same time. What a mess. Plowing snow at all hours of the day and night, chasing each...

Dear Mary Lou and family, I'm sorry I couldn't be there. Bill was one of my first Sgts. after graduating from the academy and working in the 2nd Pct. I later worked with him in the 7th Pct. He was a great boss, but more importantly a good friend. He will truly be missed by all that knew him. God Bless!

Dear Mary Lou, I had the pleasure to work with Bill in the early "Roosevelt" years of our careers - I'm sure you know he was the kind of guy you had to like, that laugh, that smile and the enthusiastic desire to help both friend and stranger alike. He will be missed by all

Mrs. Lysaght, Kelly, Kathy, and Kevin:
I was deeply saddened to hear the news about Mr. Lysaght. What wonderful memories we all have from growing up with our dads in the pipe band, road trips, camping, etc. He will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Although we never worked together on the job we had many good time and discussions while we were members of the Pipe Band. I always found Bill to be Honest and upbeat, a very proud professional. May God embrace his family at this troubled time.

I had the pleasure of working with Bill in the second PCT. He was a great guy and a great boss.

Dear Mary Lou and family,
I worked with Bill for a short time in the Seventh Pct. He was truly a pleasure to work with and work for. Bill was always a gentleman and someone to look up to for guidance. I'm sure he will be missed greatly by your family and all those that knew him. May he rest in peace and may God keep you all in his care.
