Magnor, William Thomas "Tom" William T. "Tom" Magnor, 95, died Sunday, July 18, 2010, at the home of his son, Thomas Joseph Magnor. He was born March 25, 1915, in Chicago, to the late Francis and Hedwig (Schnell) Magnor. He married the late Kathryn (nee Kearns) on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, 1942. Lt. J. G. Magnor served in the Coast Guard in the South Pacific during World War II, after graduating from the Coast Guard Academy, June 10, 1944. He received his MBA from the University of Chicago in 1956. Tom was a 50 year member of the National Association of Accountants and a Life Member of the Illinois CPA Society. Upon retiring as CFO of the Tempel Steel Company, he relocated to Elm Grove, WI after purchasing Atlas Metal Parts in Waukesha. Tom is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann (husband, Robert) Budnik of Delray Beach, FL; son, Thomas Joseph (wife, Mary nee Roeser) Magnor of Brookfield, WI; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen (the late Kenneth) Mayer of Atlanta, GA and Patricia (the late Edward) Patten of Glenview Illinois; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, July 23, from 4-7PM, at Becker Ritter Funeral Home (14075 W. North Ave., Brookfield, WI 53005). The Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, July 24, at 10AM, at St. Mary's Visitation Parish (1260 Church St., Elm Grove, WI 53122). For funeral information 262-782-5330.
