He was a very good person, father, and police officer who touched many lives. He will...

Dear Family,
I had the pleasure of knowing Lt. Mahoney when I worked for James Riordan when he was Chief of Patrol and Lt. Mahoney was assigned to Vice. I remember him best walking through the door on the 6th floor of 11th and State to go to lunch with Chief Riordan. He was always a gentleman, considerate and always had a smile. My sympathies are with you and he is in my prayers.

Uncle Bill will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful uncle and a devoted brother to my grandma. We will never forget our "Go to Guy".
