Dear Mary,
John and I just learned of Bill's passing. We are so sorry we also missed celebrating him and his awesome life with you in Sept. here in MA. Please know we are drinking a toast to him, and sending a hug and a shot or two to you. You two always made us and our tribe feel loved and welcomed. Thank you for sharing the gift of Bill and you.

Worked with Bill atDOL for many years great memories playing sports with Bill and drinking a few beers. Rest in peace old friend

What a moving and lovely remembrance of a life well lived and of a man much loved.
My deepest sympathies to the Mahoney family.

My father, Bill Connelly, met Bill Mahoney when they were six years old. Bill used to like to tell me that my grandmother always made Jello especially for him when he was over for dinner, because she knew it was his favorite dessert.
Bill and my father remained dear friends until my father's passing in 2013. After that, Bill would phone to check on me and see how I was doing, which I always appreciated immensely. He was a wonderful man and a true mensch.
My husband, Paul, and...

After reading the obituary I feel I know Bill. My sincerest condolences to the family and especially to Steven who is part of “my Mahoney family.” Jean Roche

So sorry for your loss god bless william

Bill came into my life when I was 13 years old in 1983. He brought new life, love and hope for my mother. They loved each other for 36 years and I am so happy for that. He was the best stepfather a girl could ask for and I will miss him. He will always be remembered as a loving, hardworking, kind, funny and caring person. Rest in peace, Bill. I love you.

What a great guy to have the privilege of knowing. I’m certain he was very proud of all his children and grandchildren.

God bless Mr. Mahoney
