Not sure what to say?

Bill was a great friend and he joined us on several adventures. to include many self-contained bike tours the most memorable was our ride across the USA in 1996. Mark,

I shared many cycling adventures with him including the Tour Along the South Shore of Lake Erie (TASSLE) where we met in 1988, a week in the Smokey Mountains, two weeks in New England, a week in Ohio and Michigan, 18 days in Oregon and Northern California, and the epic cross country ride from Oregon to the Atlantic in 1996. Mark,

Please accept my sincerest of condolences on the loss of your father. I can clearly see where you get your sense of adventure and biking from.

All the best,

Harvey Schabes

Mark, I am sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Prayers are for you and your family.

He was known to a great many of us as "Mr. Manthey". Our Teacher, our Mentor and our Brother. Mr. Manthey shaped the very foundation of IBEW Local 38 as a Role Model for many young electricians. He will always be remembered as a "Wireman's Wireman". He will be Greatly Missed but Never Forgotten.
