Not sure what to say?

I was Bill's resident in OLM in 1994 and sadly, some of us just got to know about his demise a year or 2 later. Almost all of us residents in OLM were foreign trainees and the standard practice was to call us by our last names. Bill was the only attending we had, who would take the trouble of calling us by our first names, no matter how strange it may have sounded to him. That was his way of showing respect. And he would invite some of us to his home in Mt Kisco. There was no racist bone...

Missing you Dr. Marino.

I met Bill many years ago through my first husband. He was a hiking partner for many years. After I had decided to go back to school and decided on nursing, Bill was the person who suggested I apply to North Central Bronx Hospital. I got my first job there. It was a great experience and I was happy that he had suggested it. He also worked there as an intern and resident. I also met Barbara while I was working there. Even at the beginning of his career, he gave his all to his patients,...

I just found out that Dr Marino passed away. One of the most dedicated Doctors I have ever encountered. He had such an incredible sense of humor and took bad moods and transformed them into Great moods. He treated his patients with respect and was always there if you needed him. It was an honor to have him care for me in my time of need, he took the time to listen, and treated his patients as family. I will miss him greatly. RIP "Doc", you are an example for others to follow. God bless.

I am just now finding out about your passing DOC, we worked so well at the VA together always there to advocate for the vet's to get them the care that they as well as my self needed, you were always trying to put a smile on the nurses and vet's faces with your jokes, you will be Missed keep smiling down on us

Plant a Tree

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Great teacher, wonderful person, warm-hearted man will always stay fresh in my memory.

Our sincere condolences on the loss of Bill, our Steamboat Landing neighbor every July.

Dr. Marino was an outstanding physician and teacher. A true healer who made a difference in so very many lives. It is an honor to have worked with him.
