Not sure what to say?

You don't know me but I live with my two teenage daughters in the same condo building as your dad did. I was stunned to hear of his passing. He was always so kind to me and my girls. He would always ask how they were doing, how school was and always had encouraging words. You could tell that he was such a kind and genuine man. It always brightened up my day when I ran into him. I'm glad to have known him even for the brief time we had over the last three years. You are all in our prayers.

To all the wonderful Marmitt children, spouses, grandchildren and Pat, Hank and their entire family: Our deepest condolences to you - Bill was one of our closest friends and to say we treasured our relationship would be putting it mildly. We were and are so fortunate to have him in our lives -he will be missed terribly. May you be comforted in the knowledge that he was so dearly loved by so many people - our prayers are with all of you.

Dearest Bill,

You were such a wonderful and giving man. You were never short of kisses and compliments for family and friends.
We are all lucky to have had you in our lives and your love has made us all better people.

You will be greatly missed and always remembered.

Dear Pat, Hank and family:
Deedy and Leo told us of your loss and we just wanted you to know we are thinking of you at this time. We remember all our good times in Glenview with you many years ago. Our thoughts are with you
