Not sure what to say?

Just saw this Bill. Love you old friend especially our times at the Liars Club. You were one of my favorite people there. True as a friend could ever be. Rest in peace in the arms of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

Marshall Ford. Yes my Dad sold cars also. I went to school with Greg HB Class of 67. I was sorry to hear Greg passed also. Fond memories of the Golden Years. RIP The Marshall Clan. Sharon Dole 2025.

Bill was a friend of my Father, and we always bought our cars from his dealership. As an adult we bought cars also from Bill. After he sold his business and opened his office downtown, I stopped by to visit a few times and I really enjoyed our conversations. On one occasion I told him I was also flying and preparing to get a license. He told me that once he flew a small plane and vowed never to again as he felt they were unsafe as opposed to the P-51 Mustangs he flew on missions over...

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Marilyn, Charlie & family. I was not able to attend the memorial service but was able to watch it on YouTube. It was a wonderful tribute and eulogy to a wonderful person and to see children, grandchildren, in-laws, et al involved in the service. I especially enjoyed the short video of Mr. Marshall 'dancing' around with his cane, with Charlie and his grandchildren with the energy of a young man. I know you were all very proud of him and his legacy. Peace Douglas J. Munson

Bill was a real treasure... I have known his family over 60 years. Truly the salt of the earth. Steve Watson

I got to know Bill Marshall at a car cruise in at Van Mall Retirement Home. He was just 97 years young. I had a 1967 Mustang that my wife had bought from Bill Marshall Ford when it was new , it was her first car . I had displayed the car sales slip which his name on the header which he had spotted and that is the way we became friends.I enjoyed his friendship very much , he was a great man , let me say we need more people in this world like Bill Marshall, I cannot say enough, thank you Bill...

As I read the other comments shared about Bill, they echo what immediately came to my mind. Bill was a true gentleman - gentle, considerate, welcoming, genuinely interested in others. He was a friend of my grandfather George Propstra and, as I recall, we leased office space to him after he "retired", right next to The Holland Restaurant, where he was a frequent and familiar face to be seen. The world was a better place for people like him. Thank you, Bill, and God bless!
