Not sure what to say?

I remember the impact Mr. Martin had on my sons and their friends in school. Always positive & genuinely interested in them. Shared mementos of wood he'd carved with life lessons that we still have. They always spoke of him fondly & never wanted to disappoint him. At home, I even displayed "It's a beautiful day and something great is going to happen" and never took it down.

The most inspirational individual I think I've ever met. Kind and compassionate, always encouraging. He had the best sayings and lessons to live by, and will be greatly missed.

Was a terrific teacher. He left me a gift he pulled from his pocket one day when I ran into him, a verse on a small piece of cedar I will always cherish. A wonderful person.

I think of this 2021 photo as "The Patriotic Martins." Bill often sat in the swing placed in front of their garage; and sometimes when I'd look through my office window and see Bill sitting there, I'd put my work aside and stroll across the street. He was unfailingly friendly. I will miss him.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bill as a longtime customer of my barbershop and continued cut his hair at home. He also became a member of our Emmaus sharegroup. He will be greatly missed.

Love ya coach. You meant alot to me
