Priscilla and Bill were the first Daytonians I ever met when I was an intern at Cox Arboretum way back in 1980. Bill was always a concerned dad and asked about my car, plants, and how to grow clematis successfully. What a gift he was to all of us former interns, staff and now retired staff of the Arboretum. Our dear Uncle Bill... Uncle Bill always had a wonderful, unique and dry sense of humor. We would always just wait for what he might say. Others were very talkative in our family and he would wait for his moment for the zinger which sometimes was so clever it took the family a moment to really realize how funny his comment truly was.
