Katie and family, I had the opportunity to work with Bat for the past 12 years. I enjoyed the golf outings and all the trips we compared notes on. He was especially fond of Meunster cheese from Wisconsin, so anytime one of us from the La Crosse Branch was going to Columbus, we had to pick up a block of cheese to bring along for him. I will miss those times. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Bat will be deeply missed.

Bat was one of the "good guys". He was a gentleman, a consumate professional and a good friend. Too soon gone and sadly missed.

My family met Mr. Masterson several years ago when he bought mulch from our sons, Teddy and Michael, to help support thier boy scout activities. He continued his support and bought mulch from their troop each year. We will never forget his kindness and our sons will treasure the memories his kindness provided for them. The church called Michael and asked him to serve as an alter boy for his funeral. He was touched to return a kind deed to a man who showed kindness to him.
