Not sure what to say?

I want your entire family to know how sorry I am for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Your Husband/Dad/Grandfather had an impact on countless lives. This past fall I took my five year old son on a tour of South Orlando and drove by the Little League fields where he invested a lot of time in a number of boy's lives. I can't help but smile when I think of a number of us piling into his white convertible to go to the batting cages, basketball game and numerous other...

Bill Mateer was my family's attorney, a dear friend, and my stepfather's (Bill Conomos)closest confidant in all matters for more than 20 years. From the time I was a child Bill Mateer was the most memorable adult in my life besides my parents. He solved a wide range of legal problems, over the years, for my family and myself. The positive resolution of those issues was worth far more than any fee he ever charged. Bill's professional competence speaks for itself. In the wider realm, Bill...

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to your whole family for your loss. I haven't seen any of you in a while but I just wanted to say I certainly have great memories of being around your family. I've known Bryan and Craig probably since I was 8 years old and so I was able to be around Mr. Mateer quite a bit and I always remember his dry sense of humor. I'm just glad he never caught us sneaking out of the house during one of our late night escapades. Once again sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Mateer and family,

My deepest condolences as you grieve the loss of Mr. Mateer. I will always remember him as a kind man who was always carrying a library book. I treasure the 5 years I worked at his fine firm and the opportunity to know him.

Dear Mateer family - our thoughts and prayers are with you. I would like to thank you for the friendship and laughs that you have brought to my family and for not taking life too seriously. Bill was so much fun to be around and I loved the way he kept my dad in line.

Love Allison Herrington Dolan and Family

Sandy and family,
My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Mr. Mateer was such a great man from the stories I have heard. I had the pleasure of working with him for five years and it was always neat to see him walk in the door every morning with a book in hand. He will be missed but he is in a good place now.

I know it has been years since I have seen or talked to all of you, but I just wanted to tell you how truly sorry I am to hear of your Father's passing. To this day, some of my fondest memories are being with your family. I will keep you all in my prayers and hope you can find some sort of comfort in the fact that your Dad is now an angel who is at peace. Love and sympathy.

I know how devasting the loss of a loved one can be as I only recently lost by beloved father. He and Mr. Mateer were alike in many ways (especially in the daddy department). Over the last 36 years of working at Mateer & Harbert I developed a real fondness for Mr. Mateer. And, even though I moved from the Orlando office to the Ocala office, I still miss hearing him greet me with a "Hi ah Darc." I'm so glad I was able to attend his 80th birthday party and spend some time just chatting with...

We mourn with you in your loss and pray that God's love and mercy will be ever present during this time of sorrow.
