Funeral services celebrating the life of William Louis Mayeux will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2017 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Steven Brandow officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Friday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
Mr. Mayeux, 33, of Lafayette, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Boca Raton, Florida.
Mr. Mayeux worked as a pumper in the oil field.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tonya Ferrington Mayeux.
Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Oscar William Mayeux; grandmother, Sylvia Richard Mayeux; brothers, Christopher Kent Mayeux and Nicholas Keith Mayeux; a host of other family members and friends.

Man Louis you were like a brother man, I loved working with you everyday and when you used to call and vent to me bro, I felt like you were my brother I never had man, I hate to see you go out this way and so young, we have so much life ahead of us man, love you brother you will be missed.
