I am a nurse and worked with Dr. McBride at the VAMC. He was a wonderful doctor and friend. His patients love him, because they could tell he really cared for their well being. He will be missed by many.

Dr. McBride, by my observation, was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, mentor and friend. Additionally, he was a great psychiatrist who actually performed the work of spending time with patients. He sat a positive example for other therapists to follow. I remember Dr. McBride walking briskly to see his next patient @ 6:15A most every morning and his day did not end until much past nightfall.
