Kim, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We were next door neighbors to Jim when we moved into our first house on Ethel St in the East Town neighborhood of GR during the late 80´s. Jim was a true gentleman out of the 1940s. He was the silent type like Gary Cooper. A quiet man like John Wayne. A real Renaissance man. My wife and him would share ideas on plants, flowers and landscaping and helped us with preparations for our backyard wedding the following year. Spent many a happy day with Jimmie Mac riding and walking on golf courses throughout western Michigan. Enjoyed his sense of humor and the humor of his play. Had a lot of laughs. You will be missed my friend.

Jim will be missed for all his fun stories, days at the MAC, and as a great golf partner. He also had a love for Notre Dame. Many fun memories.
