William F. "Bill" McCann

It is hard to believe that it has been a year. You are very missed.

I saw Bill´s obituary in the Baylor alumni magazine today. I was friends with Bill at Abilene High School and Baylor University. I had great admiration for Bill throughout the years for his steadfastness and gentle nature. My sincere condolences to his family at this difficult time.

Oh, I am sad to hear of Bill´s passing from this earth. I knew him at Baylor, as I dated his good friend, Eddie Myers, who also passed a few years ago. I remember them both being just too cool, wearing Madras slacks, pale blue or yellow Oxford cloth shirts and Weejuns without socks. Baylor, Fall, 1964. Bill, looking like George Harrison, was also so nice, just as you describe him throughout his life. I am so happy to hear his joy with good friends and his dear wife and family. I´ll imagine...
