So sorry I could not attend Uncle Bill's service. I remember him as a very kind and funny man, and I know he will be missed. I hope to meet you all soon under happier circumstances.

I worked with Bill McCarron at GM for about 10 years. I must admit I am saddened by this news. Knowing Bill was such a joy, his sense of humor, fun approach to life, and wisdom, changed stressful work days into life lessons. I was so fortunate to receive the blessing and honor of calling this man my friend. I send my deepest condolences to the family. it is my hope and prayer that you are comforted. Like I am, by the many fond memories.

Bill was not only a cousin but a valued older and spirited friend to me as a child and a youth. He is a great loss.

A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said at the weekly children's mass at Christ the Redeemer church in West Vancouver on June 12.
