Not sure what to say?

Mike was a hero to all of us who grew up with him in Stamford during the 1950's. He was smart, gregarious, modest and superlatively talented athletically.

Dear Nancilu,
Mike was a long-time friend; I will always remember his mischevious spirit and great athletic abilities. It was an honor for Sarah and I to drive Mike to OU to start his football career at "our school." I will be grateful forever that Mike and his Dad unselfishly donated blood for my father one Christmas during an ice storm in Stamford. It saved my father's life. Mike became more than "just a friend"; he became a "dear and treasured friend". I will never forget...

I grew up with Mike, and I knew his family as well. Mike's father and his uncle frequently help the local guys work on their cars. Of all the people in Stamford during our time in high school, Mike was the most likely candidate to develop a tremendous ego. To his lasting credit, he was as easy going and as humble as anyone I knew. He was liked, admired, and respected. Mike was one of a kind.

Mike was a friend for over 55 years. We enjoyed quail hunts together at the Springer Ranch several years. My condolences to his family.

Sweet Nancilu and family,
Mike was a very talented and accomplished man. He was proud of his life and his family. You stood beside him in many triumphs and also many trials. You came out of each with wisdom, grace and strength. God bless you all for the blessing you have been to many.
Know that you are prayed for and loved through this difficult time . Kay

What a wonderful man and a wonderful friend. He loved his family, fishing and his Oklahoma Sooners. Nancilu he will be sorely missed. With God's grace on thee. Love Wally Schroeder

I first met Mike in College Station at an IRWA Regional Seminar many many years ago. We became friends and worked together on a number of right of way projects over the years. I always looked forward to seeing him at Chapter meetings, classes and seminars. Mike always had that "glad to see you" attitude whenever you ran into him. I will miss his friendship. My condolances to his wife and family.
Greg
