Not sure what to say?

Dear Bill my heart breaks ... you were the strength of our family. Will miss you so much especially your wife Jean. To soon you were gone. I was just beginning to know you better as brother to sister-in-law. I will miss our many conversations that helped us both deal with Jean's condition. I will miss you terribly. Rest in peace my dear brother-in law. Love from the Leet family.

Uncle Bill is one of the best men I have ever known. I love him very much and I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to tell him. He will be greatly missed.

Back in the day, Bill was THE Highway Patrol in East Asheville. I was scared to death of him when I was a teenager, but enjoyed working with him as I grew up. He was a good man, a "good and faithful servant".

Uncle Billy will be missed. He inspired his family and taught us truth and fairness. Much appreciation to cousin Bobby and Mary Ann for taking care of him like he was their father. He loved you as his children. A warm shout out to all the NC highway patrol officers and Buncombe Co officers who took time to come to the cemetery. May you rest in peace Uncle Bill.

Sgt McClure was my sgt when I was stationed in Buncombe County. He was a great man and will be missed at our bi-annual meetings with other retirees. My condolences to the family.

My father Bill Freeman and Bill went to school together since the second grade and then they went into the Navy together in Hawaii and then they got went their own way but they were best friends. Bill came to see my father about two weeks ago. So glad they got to see each other. May God wrap his arms around this family at this time of loss. The Bill Freeman family
