He was an exceptional human being. He was kind to a fault, generous, caring for his family and nature and was particularly fond of his birds which made his home a regular dining establishment. What a great guy!! I worked with Bill at Hawken in the 70's. He passed the Hunting Valley Historical Society torch to me 8 years ago. We loved the honey that he created at his house. We loved seeing him at St. Christophers. Just a wonderful person.
