Dear Billy, and all the McCuen Family.
On behalf of the Wilkinson's I send my humble words of a life well lived. Your Dad was wonderful in so many ways. What great memories on Ridgeland. I saw your Dad many times when he finally got my Dad to join him at the VA. I will surely miss seeing each of you as I am away until April.
I loved reading the obituary and said each of your names out loud. Celebrate his good life of good service.

I worked in the clinic with Dr. McCuen when he was at North Greenville. He was dedicated to helping the students and the community. In a time when Drs never made house calls, he would come in and say get my bag we're going to see John Doe, he's having trouble getting up. He really seemed to enjoy doing house calls and talking with his patients. He was a kind and caring man who love his wife and children. He would tell us stories about vacations they had taken once I think in a converted...

Dr. McCuen served as my primary care physician (although he was in internist) during his service at North Greenville University. I didn't mind going to the doctor during those years since it always included stimulating conversation with Dr. McCuen. I was able to say to him at his retirement, "I'm in better health now than I was when you came."
