Not sure what to say?

Our sympathy goes out to all the McDaniel family and also the Swain and Larson family.Doug was so blessed with two beautiful children,Kelly and Mike, Mom and Dad, ( Bill & Betty),and sisters Kathy and Donna. So enfolded in life and love by all that loved him.
The sun is shinging on him and also on all the ones that loved him.
Enfolding you all in our thoughts and prayers

Thank you for attending Doug's memorial service on Friday, December 12th. It was overwhelming to talk with so many of our beloved son's friends. Our family deeply appreciates your presence, both of the many friends we knew from the past and of those we have never had the pleasure of meeting before. God bless you all for helping to ease the pain of our deep felt loss and for helping us to remember the value of creating a genuine and lasting friendship with everyone you meet

Thank you for sharing the story of Doug's life with us, Donna. Our best goes out to you and your family.

My memories of Doug are all around his valiant efforts to be well. Doug loved his family more than anything.

I didn't know Doug very well. I was raised wih his sister Donna, and know Bill and Betty. What I do know is how much Bill, Betty, and Donna loved Doug. Donna was always giving us updates on the folks and Doug as the many decades when by. Lately, Donna and all of us were praying so much. We offer our deepest sympathy but know Doug was comforted by the love around him.

Dougie, you will be missed. Your wicked sense of humor and your mischeivious laugh. I will always smile when I think of you wearing a grass skirt and coconut top for our hawaiian canoe race :) Crumpy!

Kelly and Mikey, my heart goes out to you for your loss.

Doug was my best friends father. He will be deeply missed and always remembered. Everytime I paddle out I will think of him.

Doug, godfather to my son Eric and friend of mine for all these years. Good times, bad times and just living life, Doug was a man with a heart full of love for his family and friends and others.

Kelly and Michael, I send my love and support to you at this very difficult and sad time.

"love you, Rudy"...Kim

Doug was larger than life and I will really miss his smile. He was such a dear friend - one of the most generous people I've ever met! Bless his spirit.
