I knew Billy since he was a little boy growing up on Sherman Pl. He was always happy and smiling willing to lend anyone a helping hand. Back in the late 1960s and 1970s every neighborhood had small independently owned stores where people gathered and had great conversations. Billy fit right in and was a great neighbor and citizen.
