I have fond memories of growing up across the street from The McElroys. During your time of sadness, stick together and remember the good that came from The McElroy's house, as I often do. Try to smile and take good care of Irene.

Dear Irene I shall miss my "Brother Bill" very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am very sorry for your loss, Bill was a good man he helped me alot; his giving nature was a powerful example.

Dear Irene and family; I was extremely sadden to hear of Bill's passing. I met him many years ago when he first arrived in A.A. The resemblance of Bill and of my deceased father, Rudy Gering, M.D. was striking and I let Bill know that. Because of this, we always had a special bond. About one and a half years ago, Bill knew I was struggling in A.A. He took me aside and asked me if I was spirtually bankrupt...I was! Bill told me to read "A Vision For You." in the Big Book of Alcoholics...

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Bill. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. I worked with and was friends with Bill when he was at the DEP and he will be sadly missed.
