Betsy, I am so sorry for your loss. I just learned of it today. I remember Bill with great fondness. I remember our times at Hilton Head Island together as well as our days at the bank. I hope that you and your family are well.

Betsy, "Spanky" was my best friend and neighbor when I was young and the last time I saw you both was at my wedding at the Naval Base. So sorry to have lost touch but think of you both when I drive through Windemere. I will always cherish his friendship.

The Class of 1954 at St. Andrew's High School in Charleston lost a valued member. We will all miss him...lots. We knew him when he had a nickname.
