Not sure what to say?

He had one of the greatest senses of humour with that brilliant brain of his. So fortunate to have had all the fun with he and his wonderful wife. His interest in the Institute of Nautical Archeology .....His interests were a myriad of a huge coat of many colors. I miss our funny conversations and teasing. Will not be another like him!!!!!

Billy Mac was a confidante to Presidents; a political advisor to judges and mentor to both young and older lawyers seeking advice on life and the practice of law.

Billy Mac most of all will be remembered for his devotion to God, Country and Family.

I miss you my friend and mentor.

Mr. McKenzie was a great and kind man. When I was in high school in Iowa my sister Victoria worked for Billy. When I visited my sister in Dallas Mr. McKenzie took me aside and talked to me about being an Aggie and about Texas A&M football. I later made it to A&M and played football and graduated with two degrees (Mr. McKenzie handed me my diplomas on stage) and I am proud to be an Aggie. Mr. McKenzie touched my life early on and was a great mentor to me. My condolences to the family and...

I worked for McKenzie and Baer for several years in the mid-1980's and will always remember Mr. McKenzie's kindness and caring for me and my family. He was a great mentor to my brother, Todd, in helping him attend Texas A & M, become a fellow Aggie and become a successful business man in Houston. He was a wonderful man, and I want to express my condolences to Martha and Peter and their families. He and your Mother will be missed very much.

We will miss you.

Billy Mac was a friend and counselor to Presidents; a mentor to many lawyers both young and old; a confidante to judges seeking advice and counsel in politics and life. The greatest attribute Billy Mac possessed, however, was his deep devotion to God and Family.

You will be dearly missed my friend and my mentor.

My condolences to Brother McKenzie's family and friends.

I worked for Bill McKenzie and his partner Henry Baer, in their law firm in the 70s. He was a generous boss to all his employees and young law interns. My time there was short but wonderful and I will never forget the kindness of his heart.

On behalf of Highland Park Lodge #1150, we offer our condolances to the family. Brother Bill McKenzie serviced High Park Lodge as the Master of the Masonic Lodge from 1972-1973.
Brother Bill will be dearly missed.
God bless he and his family.
