I just saw about Cpl. William Lloyd McMillan III on a Facebook post July 8, 2021, by Seal of Honor. Seeing Cpl. McMillan's smile in his photo really got to me. 13 years ago, seems so long ago in these long wars, yet on the other hand seems like only yesterday. My sons served as Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan during the surges for both countries. They both made it home. Many of our troops who made it home are suffering from mental and/or physical injuries.
