Not sure what to say?

Sally M. My deepest condolences to you and your family. God bless you and your family. I hope things are going much better for you as well. Sincerely Dan D.

I took two tin classes with Bill at Eastfield Village, and visited with him at the Tintinkers Convergences in various locations. He was an excellent teacher, an entertaining dominos player, and always pleasant company.

So sad. I met William in Eastfield Village where I took a half dozen classes. I know he had a good book collection of the early American trades and decided to see if I could find him to ask him if he had any books on early American furniture, which I´m almost sure he had many. It´s only now I find out of his passing. He was such a wealth of information along with the late Don Carpentier. Wow, those two could captivate a class in so many fields of true authentic restoration. Rest in peace...

We miss his smile and wave as he walked the neighborhood. I miss the sound of him working in the garage. He was a skilled tinsmith. Our prayers have been out for his family and I'm sure his wife was awaiting him. They were a lovely couple and have fond memories of them. Best Regards, Lisa & Joe Rupinski & Family

To Billy's family: my sincere condolences. I am Don Carpentier's sister and have known Billy and Judy since I was a teenager (I'm now 64). They were both great friends of my entire family. Their contributions to Eastfield were immeasurable, but I personally learned a lot from them and enjoyed their company over the decades. Billy helped keep Eastfield's spirit alive since Don's death and his loss is yet another blow to the restoration community. But he will be missed as much for his outgoing...

I've known Bill since I was 18 years old- I'm now 67. I cannot begin to describe the sense of loss I feel- a father figure, a mentor- He's taught me so much about the material culture of the 18th century... I will never forget him.
