Jean and Michael, I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I always loved you guys and thought of you as part of our family. Lots of fun vacations together when we were younger and Sunday afternoon Sports at our house or yours. Miss you guys and will always miss Bill and his fun stories! Love and prayers! I am sorry for your loss. Mr. McNair hired me at FNB in 1977 and I worked for him until the AmSouth merger. He was a pleasure to work for and a wonderful man. I saw him not long ago and had a good conversation with him.

Mr. McNair was one of the finest men I knew. I worked for him in Installment Loans at First National Bank, and totally respected him. Was a good supervisor, had great sense of humor (and a great laugh!), and, after we were forced to leave FNB due to the Amsouth takeover, had a warm relationship toward him during our occasional encounters years later.
