I am so sorry about Barry´s passing... I knew him from the Altamont school... he was always in plays and seemed interested. Chris was in my class as was Hunter F., Barry was 2 years older and Jeff was my brothers close friend(David Spencer)... I always admired them all.... My condolences sorry I just found out

Remembering Barry from the brief time we worked together at BA Ventures in Foster City, CA. What a unique sense of humor and take on the world. It goes without saying that he will be forever missed.

Dear McRae Family:
I just came across Barry's obit while Googling old business associates and am shocked and saddened by news of his passing. Dear McRae family. Please accept my deepest sympathies, I just came across the news that Barry passed away. I met Barry while working on the junior staff at Sea Island during college.
Not only was he talented, fun, intelligent, he was also so very thoughtful. When my own brother passed away a few years later, the first condolence card I received was from Barry even though we had lost touch. We were in touch after he moved to New York in the mid '80's and the last time we saw each...

I met Barry while working in the kitchen at Sterne Agee...and he was one of the sweetest people there. A very genuine, caring person was he. I extend my condolences now,for I just found out about his passing. He will was a remarkable person...God bless his soul.

My son, Victor Douglas, just informed me that he had recently communicated with Malcolm and was told that Malcolm's father had passed away. Victor was visibly shaken by the news that his friend had lost his dad. I, too am saddened to hear of this news and extend my condolences to Malcolm, his mom Lesley and his immediate and extended family.

I am sure that your dad is extremely proud of the young man that you have become, Malcolm. I appreciate the good friend that you have been...

So saddened by the news of Barry's passing. He was a wonderful, charming, funny, talented guy who brightened my every day at Morgan Stanley when I worked with him many years ago. I always looked forward to seeing him and am grateful to have known him. He was a most special person. My deepest sympathy to his beautiful family.

Barry was truly a gifted person whose presence and grace will be missed. God did not make a lot of Barry's and I am glad I had the opportunity to consider him a friend.
