Not sure what to say?

I went to Dr. McRoberts when I was 22 and pregnant with my first child. My daughter Shannon is now 30 years old. My Mother and sister also went to him. Dr. McRoberts deliverd my sister and was suppose to deliver me, but I decided to come two months early and was born in Bryan, TX, while my Dad was gone hunting and when he returned he asked where is Lois? Much to my Dad's surprise my Mom and I were waiting for him at the hospital. My Mom told me that Dr. McRoberts didn't charge her, since...

Dr. McRoberts was the most wonderful OB/GYN doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He delivered my two daughters at Hermann Hospital in 1961 and 1967. I can remember saying to him that I am not sure I will know when it is time to call you about going to the hospital. Mrs. McRoberts worked along side of Dr. McRoberts as his nurse and she told me that I would know. She said, when the apple gets ripe, it will fall off the tree. They made a great team. I'm very thankful for the...

I came to Dr. McRoberts at a very young age and was pregnant. He was very kind to me even though I didn't have any business having children at that age. Thereafter he delivered my three children who are now 47,44 & 41. I am greatful for the very healthy babies that he delivered for me and have talked about him so many times especially the $75.00 that he charged. He was a wonderful man and I'll never forget him.

I lived next door Leah and Bill when I was a young child. "Dr. Bill" as my brother and I called him bandaged injuries and helped when I had the chicken pox. My parents and I remained friends with them. Leah called me herself this morning, because she wanted be to hear of Bill's passing from her directly. Leah and Bill McRoberts are my heros. I have many of Leah's painting hanging in my home. I adore them both.

I am eternally gratful to Dr. W. A. McRoberts. He delivered my first three babies. (In 1954,55,and 56). The first one he only charged $75, because my husband was still in college. He had the best sense of humor and I truly came to love him and thought of him often.

God bless you all.
