Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, December 27, 2002, 11 a.m., at Macomb Christian Church, 13845 22 Mile Road, Shelby, Michigan. Bill was a very special man. I met him in 1989 when we all lived in Texarkana, Texas. I remember one time when I went with his wife to visit him down at the RRAD woodcraft shop and someone asked him if I was his daughter. He and I were both flattered and I began calling him "Dad" from then on...it was a special joke between us. He, Linda and I all chose to move to Michigan after leaving RRAD, and just knowing they were going to still be living nearby gave me an added sense of comfort. I...
