I grew up next door to Bill's parents Harry and Alice. The original smoke house for meats was in their garage and I believe that was where the idea for beef jerky and meat snacks originated. Then it moved to what I think was the old Nebergall's meat location on 2nd and Ferry. I started working there in 1961 or 1962. the new production plant was built about the same time. So many fond memories of Bill - house boat trips to Lake Shasta, skiing at Bachelor and Sun Valley, ID, living next door to Harry and Alice as a child and it goes on and on! He was very instrumental in so many clubs and businesses in Albany. Wonderful and thoughtful man. My condolences to his family. Norma

It was a pleasure going up next door to Bill and Fern. Jodi and I will hopefully be there for the celebration of his astounding life. He lives on in all of you. Love and hugs to all of the family.

Mike/Melissa, So sorry to hear about your Dad. I have such great memories of Cub Scouts at your place and making those milk carton candles! Your Dad left a great legacy that will remain intact for eternity. Blessings to you guys.
