Not sure what to say?

Willy was a deal man and I enjoyed working with him on the P2 MHC at the Portland VA. He was always helpful with our 'Monday morning computer surprises' that the IT department installed on weekends. I still practice his advice: 'turn off your computer and pray for 15 seconds'! One day he asked if the flicking on my computer screen was a problem.....I didn't even know I had a flicker. He brought something new into my office the next day and my afternoon headaches were cured. I appreciate...

Deepest condolences to Betsy and family. I was lucky enough to work with Willy (and Betsy) at the VA and working with Willy was a perk. In a world of red tape it was refreshing to find a guy who saw the reality and did his best to improve things, with humor and organizational skills. Rest in well-deserved peace.

Willy was a dear friend. He will be truly missed.l will always have a special place in my heart for him

I met Willy when I started working at the VA in 2011. He didn´t trust too many people with access to programs but he trusted me. I tried to absorb as much as I could from him in all our years together. He started prepping me to cover for him and little did I know he was actually prepping me to take over his job one day when he retired. I would not be where I am at the VA without his knowledge, experience or trust. There were times I was able to call him months after he retired and he could...

Willy was a wonderful guy. He was very special to me and he will be greatly miss.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to you, Edith, Julie, Laurene and Betsy. How can I forget all the times we were set up at Harrah's Swap Meets in Nevada with Willy, Doug and Edith. Son Chris running around with Willy searching for the good deals. Fond memories and lots of sunburns! Sending hugs, Alyce Milstead
