Not sure what to say?

Was a year behind Billy at VF. He was one of the best trumpeter´s there. He was a low key kind of guy who could hold his own in any situation. He helped me out my first year a lot. He left this life way too soon. See you again someday my friend. Tommy

Missing a friend

My deepest condolences on Billy´s passing. I got to know Billy when we were both student cadets at VFMAC. Since we were both on full music scholarships at the school, we were assigned to the Band Company and were the only two "coal-crackers" at the time in the Band Barracks. Billy graduated a year ahead of me in the school´s college program. Coincidentally, he later became the Band Director at my H.S. alma mater in Lansford, PA. Unfortunately, we never crossed paths again after leaving...

My condolences to the Mitchell family. I had the pleasure of being introduced to the world during the 1970´s. I also was taught drum music for his Mitchell´s Marchers Band (as we were called). GOD BLESS BILLY. I will truly Mitch

Condolences to family. Meet Bill many years ago on early 70's and he was a great and talented individual. While our destiny crossed different paths I enjoyed his friendship. God bless amd rest in peace

I shared great times at his place in Punta Gorda and many more in PA. I'm saddened at his passing and will always miss him. RIP Bill.

Had Bill as a teacher at West Penn Elementary, way back when.

Fun times at MAHS, so glad Bill was able to have a lifetime of carrying out the musical work that his family was so very good at and dedicated to.

Gosh I´m going to miss him and our conversations. He was a great man and my best friend.
