WILLIAM MITCHELL

Dr. Mitchell taught my Western Civ. class at OBU along with Dr. Farthing, who we also lost last week. Mitchell was always kind, understanding, and giving when I'd stop by his office seeking further explanation and clarity on a point he'd made in class. He was also an incredible poet. I was invited to a Christmas gathering at his home where he delighted us with a reading of some of his works. A good and faithful instructor and man. He will be missed. I pray his family will feel God's grace...
