MITCHUM, JR., William Entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 13, 2005 ,William Reese "Bill" Mitchum, Jr. husband of Karen Gantt Mitchum, of North Charleston. Bill was born in Charleston a son of William Reese Mitchum, Sr. and the late Patricia Ann Drake Mitchum on Sunday, January 18, 1959. Bill attended St. Andrew's High School and was a former Mason. Bill loved fishing, listening to country music and was known to be generous to a fault. He was a parts inspector with the Robert Bosch Company for over fifteen years. Surviving is his wife, Karen G. Mitchum of North Charleston; two daughters, Tanya Leigh Mitchum Hucks and her husband, Thomas, of Summerville, Christina N. Madray and her husband, John, of Mt. Pleasant; five grandchildren, Tyler, Maegan, Austin, Tony and Tiffany; three sisters, Christy Mattingly of Charleston, Debbie Shaw and Brenda Houseman both of Tennessee and his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. William R. Mitchum, Sr. of Charleston. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Mitchum, Jr. are invited to attend his funeral service at 1:00 pm Monday, January 17, 2005 in the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Burial will be in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Sunday evening between the hours of 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
