William Edgar Montgomery Sr.

Mr. Montgomery was one of the last true grit American heroes of his generation. His life will be remembered by the countless others that looked up to him and admired him. Mr. Montgomery was the type of person to whom you looked for his acceptance. We are truly blessed to have had the opportunity to know such a man. I'm glad to know his son as a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his entire family in this time of great sorrow.

He was one of a kind, our Uncle Eddie. A good family man, honorably discharged WW11 Veteran, ball player, coach, fisherman, hunter, carpenter, and one who knew from whence came all of those talents. Go with GOD our good uncle. Thank You for being the giving person that I believe God intended for you to be.
