William Braun Moody

I was a lucky student to have Bill as an undergraduate and graduate student. He was my favorite, by far, college professor. I also enjoyed his Math League. He made math fun foe me and I hope I was able to do the same for my students. With Education taking such a beating in today's world, we need more people like Dr. Moody to show us the way. Truly a great man. May his eternal reward be an endless supply of problems to keep him happy.

Kathy,Bill,David, You are in my thoughts and prayers. Bill was a driving force for quality math education in DE. He was my mentor and friend. Dr. Moody's ideas will live on through the many math educators and students he touched.

Bill Moody was a great, kind man to whom I personally owe my career and I'm sure others do as well. He was a gifted, dynamic teacher who demanded excellence in his students in order to improve the teaching of mathematics in the public schools. He authored and conducted many educational research studies and published a book of creative problems with solutions designed for gifted public school students. I am sure he considered his greatest accomplishment, however, to have raised three splendid...

I have such fond memories of Dr. Moody. I went on his UD London trip in 89 and really enjoyed getting to know him. My thoughts are with your family.
